Young&Ng’s  Antique Gold Lace Cuff, from the Spring/Summer 2012 Collection, is perfectly paired with dazzling  metallics and elaborate fringed, sequined and beaded skirts and dresses by one of LER’s favorite stylists, David Widjaja, who perfectly captures the liberal spirit of Jazz Age Flappers.

The luxury accessories PR team here at L.E.R Public Relations were thrilled when we saw Women’s Wear Daily on February 6th featuring Etienne Aigner as a brand in the midst of a new phase and a major overhaul.  The article features an interview with President of the renowned accessories brand, Jim Piotti, who communicates his hopes to move Etienne Aigner forward, revisiting its heritage while taking the brand’s image right up to date for today’s woman.

The classic brand will return this fall under new ownership with a reinvigorated new look. As Woman World’s Daily put it earlier this week, Etienne Aigner is a venerable brand that is out to remake itself.

The South Parlor of the historic Morgan Library provided the perfect venue to debut the Fall/Winter collection. Guests were served cocktails and appetizers as they viewed the pieces on display, listened to the smooth sounds of DJ Natasha Nova, and were given the opportunity to speak to Etienne Aigner President, Jim Piotti and the creative team behind the line. Guests in attendance included editors and journalists from the likes of WWD, The New York Times, Vogue, W, InStyle, Marie Claire, Travel + Leisure, Tobe Report and Accessories magazine  along with stylists and bloggers.

Our events PR team had fun putting together gift bags for guests to go home with filled with a look-book and a beautiful statement necklace from the new collection.  LER PR was happy to help mark what is just the beginning of a major overhaul of the 60 year-old brand. Next up, the brand has plans to expand into men’s accessories and finally women’s ready-to-wear.  There are also plans to open a standalone flagship store in SoHo later this year so make sure watch this space for updates on the exciting happenings at Etienne Aigner!

The event was the perfect means to give they New York press ‘a taste of Napa’ and a sneak peak of what to expect during the ten-day festival, which will run from July 13-22nd, 2012 in Napa Valley, California. The festival, produced by IMG Artists, has been described by the New York Times as “a feast for the senses” and offers a blend of world-class artistry, gourmet cuisine, fine wines and lifestyle programs in a unique celebration of the art of life.

A private event space in New York’s Time Warner Center provided stunning views and a beautiful setting for this evening of wine and music organized for national and regional media members along with the guests and partners of the festival. Fine red and white wines were provided by festival sponsors Bouchaine, Darioush, Merryvale, and Mumm, while upcoming festival performers, Antoniette Costa, Tara Kamangar, and Khari Mateen performed a selection of original songs. Metropolitan Opera leading lady Danielle De Niese also made an appearance and speech, showing her support of the celebrated Festival del Sole.

To introduce the press to Festival del Sole, its mission and its upcoming impressive itinerary, festival producers Rick Walker and Charles Letourneau took to the microphone to educate the press and paint a stunning picture of how attending the festival truly feels. Tatiana Copland, co-owner of Bouchaine Vineyard and a founding partner of the festival, also shared her insights as to what it means to be a partner of the festival and inspired the guests to spread the word about this truly unique experience.

Guests in attendance included editors and producers from outlets such as Fox News, Forbes, The New York Times, New York Magazine, Social Life Magazine, Travel & Leisure, ABC’s Good Morning America, and Wine Spectator, to name a few. All of these guests took home a gift bag containing newly released CD’s from IMG artist Joshua Bell and The Russian National Orchestra, and a press kit including the itinerary for the 2012 festival and information on the fine wines sampled at the event.
